College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Fund

Make Your Mark is especially important to me, because I don’t think I could have studied in Florence for a whole semester without a scholarship from donor support.

This fund provides unrestricted support for the college’s greatest needs—student assistance, career and advising initiatives, and student and faculty research.

Where Funds Go

As the liberal arts college of a national research institution, Arts and Sciences is home to graduate and undergraduate opportunities in the natural sciences and mathematics, the humanities, and the social sciences (in conjunction with the Maxwell School). Your support is vital to our success in teaching, research, service, and entrepreneurship.

Every Gift Counts. Every Donor Matters. Make a Difference Today!

The Dean’s Fund helps us navigate a rapidly changing world. Students agree that our ability to seize new opportunities, address challenges, and meet unforeseen needs distinguishes the College of Arts and Sciences from our peers.

They also know flexibility and innovation come at a cost. For example:

  • Your gift of $500 will enable one student to attend a career immersion program in New York City or Atlanta.
  • Your gift of $750 will enable 10 students to participate in an A&S career fair or networking event.
  • Your gift of $1,000 will underwrite a one-month, faculty-mentored research experience.

Everything we do with the Dean’s Fund—attracting the best faculty, developing programs around the globe, galvanizing research—ultimately benefits students. And we couldn’t do it without the support of our alumni.
