Get Ready for SU vs. LSU!

September 22 to 23: NEW ORLEANS - SU football is traveling to Baton Rouge for a showdown with LSU, and the Syracuse University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends of SU to a Friday night gathering in New Orleans at The Swamp on Bourbon Street.

Axe Throwing Outing

September 22: PHILADELPHIA - Are you a fan of HBO’s hit show, “Game of Thrones”? SUPAC, the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Philadelphia, is pleased to invite alumni to join us for an evening of beer drinking and axe throwing at Urban Axes (2019 E. Boston St.). Beer and snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own beer. Space is limited, so RSVP today. Contact the club with questions. 

Great American Songbook with Jim Jimirro

September 25: NEW YORK CITY - For one night only, the Syracuse University Alumni Association and SU in NYC present a special program by one of our very own alumni showcasing the classics of American music. Join us at Lubin House as Jim Jimirro G’59 performs The Great American Songbook.

SU vs. NC State Tailgate

September 30: SYRACUSE - The Syracuse University Alumni Association invites alumni, friends of SU, and their guests to join us for our home and away football tailgates. Enjoy food, drinks, and great school spirit giveaways with fellow ’Cuse fans before cheering on the Orange!

NC State Game Watch and Blood Drive

September 30: PORTLAND - Stumptown Orange, the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Portland, invites alumni and friends of SU to join us for a game watch party as SU takes on N.C. State in football. Kickoff time is TBA. Come out and cheer on Stumptown's own, Eric Dungey, as the Orange open ACC play vs. N.C. State. Enjoy Old Market Pub’s fare, even breakfast if it’s a morning kick-off. Then, roll up your sleeve and donate a unit of blood in support of the greater Portland community. The blood drive runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Old Market Pub (6959 SW Multnomah Blvd.). All Stumptown Orange blood donors will receive SU thank-you gifts and, via e-mail, will receive a voucher good for a free haircut from SportClips. Setnor Fall Festival Concert

October 05: SYRACUSE - The Setnor Fall Festival Concert will feature performances by Setnor School of Music faculty and special ensembles, as well as a post-concert reception. The concert begins at 7 p.m. inside the Setnor Auditorium, followed by a post-concert reception at 8 p.m. This event is free and open to all Syracuse University students, alumni, parents, and prospective students and families. Clemson Game Watch

October 13: PORTLAND - Stumptown Orange, the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Portland, invites alumni and friends of SU to join us for a game watch party as SU takes on Clemson at the Broadway Grill (1700 NE Broadway). Start your weekend a little early with as and cheer on the Orange, led by our personal friend and Oregon native QB Eric Dungey, battle it out with the defending national champions. Need more info? Clemson Football Game Watch Party

October 13: CLEVELAND - Join us for our first football watch party of 2017 when Syracuse plays defending national champion Clemson. Wear your finest Orange and help cheer on SU to victory with alumni and friends of Syracuse. Enjoy great food and drinks available for purchase. We'll gather at the Winking Lizard (6111 Quarry Ln.) at 7 p.m. for kickoff. 

Pumpkin Carving

October 26: PORTLAND - Stumptown Orange, the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Portland, invites alumni to get into the Halloween spirit and carve pumpkins with us at Migration Brewing (2828 NE Glisan). Bring your carving tools and your creativity, and get your gourd on! Our pre-Halloween tradition is back, for adults and kids alike. 20/20: Pop Culture Highlights and an SU Anniversary

November 02: Join us for an evening at WHYY, Greater Philadelphia's leading public media provider. Enjoy a talk led by Newhouse School Professor Bob Thompson on some memorable moments in pop culture over the last 20 years. Mr. Thompson is commonly referred to as one of the most prolific pop culture experts in the world. Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Syracuse University’s Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture while enjoying a reception with fellow alumni, preceding the talk.
