Shuttles will pick guests up from Courtyard by Marriott Carrier Circle and the Courtyard Armory Square and Residence Inn Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square at 4:30 p.m., Crown Plaza at 4:35 p.m. and Sheraton Hotel at 4:40 p.m. If you choose to drive, park in the University Avenue Garage and catch the shuttle at 4:50 p.m. to the Chancellor’s House. At 6:30 p.m., shuttles transport guests back to their hotels and the garage from the Chancellor’s House.

U.S. Supreme Court 2023-24 Preview

The College of Law’s annual U.S. Supreme Court Preview brings together journalists, litigators and academics to discuss cases pending before the Supreme Court. The College of Law’s seventh annual Supreme Court Preview program will examine the pending cases on the docket for the 2023-24 term. This event provides three Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for guests.

Art Museum Open House

Meet the Curator!

Come view the exhibition “In Pursuit of Justice: Pan Am Flight 103,” curated by Pan Am 103 Archivist Vanessa St. Oegger-Menn, who will be on hand to answer questions and offer insights into the materials. The exhibit consists of items from the Archives documenting the Dec. 21, 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, including photographs, artifacts and original documents.

What Happens at Hendricks?

Hendricks Chapel, the spiritual heart of Syracuse University, is the student-centered global home for religious, spiritual, moral and ethical life. Established in 1930 as a home for all faiths and place for all people, the chapel now hosts 16 chaplains, 26 student-led religious and spiritual life groups, and sponsors over 1,400 programs for more than 650,000 annual attendees. For those interested in learning more about the diverse and dynamic happenings of Hendricks Chapel, this is an open-house style opportunity to visit with chaplains, staff and student leaders.

Stargazing Presented by the College of Arts and Sciences

Have you ever wondered about what exactly Holden Observatory looks like inside? You may not have had a chance to peek inside as a student, but stop by anytime during Forever Orange Friday on the Quad! Join Department of Physics students for a rare opportunity to learn about the history of this iconic building, climb the winding staircase and gaze at the stars through our historic 1887 telescope. This special event is hosted by the Department of Physics and the College of Arts and Sciences.

Sober Skate

Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion, 511 Skytop Road

Skate the night away in a safe, substance-free space during Orange Central weekend with alumni and students! Skate rentals and an NHL regulation-sized rink included. Bundle up after the game and glide into the evening hours. This event is in partnership with Orange After Dark, the Barnes Center at The Arch recovery programs and the Office of Alumni Engagement. Orange Central shuttles will stop here on their loops from 8-11 p.m. Saturday, and an additional shuttle to and from the Quad to the rink will be provided during this time. Parking is also available onsite.
