Join Us for A Historic Day in Syracuse! On behalf of the Office of Multicultural Advancement, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, The Office of Community Engagement and the Provost’s Office, you are invited to join us for two historic events on Sunday, September 8th.
Brought to Syracuse Stage by Taye Diggs ’93, Thoughts of a Colored Man highlights the Black male experience in America. The performance will be followed by a panel discussion with SU’s Chief Diversity Officer, Keith Alford and African-American playwright Keenan Scott II.
Following the play, walk across the street to the Community Folk Art Center for a very special evening of recognition for Kevin Richardson, who once dreamt of attending SU and will be visiting campus for the first time. Proceeds to benefit the Our Time Has Come Scholarship.
